The UNESCO National Commission of Iran has expressed its appreciation for the efforts, activities, and valuable achievements of the Coastal Geohazards Chair. Through its scientific, research, and educational initiatives in identifying, monitoring, and managing coastal hazards, as well as advancing specialized knowledge and public awareness, the Chair has played a key role in supporting UNESCO’s objectives and promoting sustainable management of coastal areas. The Commission acknowledged the Chair’s successful performance and affirmed its readiness to support further scientific collaborations, networking, and joint activities.
